by admin
While the very idea of participating in a triathlon is enough to trigger anxiety in most people, there are thousands of people who love and compete in these events every year. However, there seems to be a rash of triathlon panic attacks lately, which may or may not be causing some people to die in the swimming portion of the competition.
In case you didn’t know, a triathlon is a grueling feat of physical endurance that starts out with a swimming race. Then, once you stop swimming you get on a bike and run a bicycle race. As if that wasn’t enough, then you have to run a full marathon. Yes, a full 26 miles even after all the swimming and bicycling.
If you are a triathlete or even if you just want to be one, read up on the recent tragedies. There is some new and very serious concern, enough that organizers may now be required to issue warnings about triathlon panic attacks to anyone who wants to join.
